Science of Fresh is a scientist-led odour chemistry publication and product lab owned by Bodhi & Digby Ltd. The publication is run by a two-person editorial team of PhD-qualified scientists with genuine scientific careers behind them. One member of the team is also a science writer.
Scientist-Led Odour Chemistry Research
We study the chemistry behind household odours: how odour molecules bind to fabrics, surfaces, air, and porous materials, and how different product chemistries attempt to remove them. Our work combines scientific literature, Safety Data Sheet analysis, ingredient review, regulatory context, and verified consumer evidence.
Editorial Byline
Public bylines use the collective name Science of Fresh Editorial Team. This reflects a shared editorial process rather than anonymous consumer blogging.
Ownership and Commercial Transparency
Science of Fresh is owned and published by Bodhi & Digby Ltd. Bodhi & Digby Ltd also owns and develops odour-control products, including AromaShield and Science of Fresh formulations. This means Science of Fresh is not structurally independent from those brands.
We manage this conflict through clear disclosure, published review criteria, and category-based product recommendations. When AromaShield, Science of Fresh, or other Bodhi & Digby products appear in our content, that relationship is disclosed on the page.
